Search-Engine-MarketingPPC is one of those strategies that can make you a ton of money or cost you a ton of money.  There is a lot of work involved in order to be successful with PPC. Here are some tips to help you increase your revenue.

Using Keyword Phrase & Simple PPC Techniques to Create Tons of Leads For Your MLM!

By Brandon Walsh

Okay, PPC can be incredibly costly and difficult if done wrong. I have spent over 100k using AdWords both personally and in cooperative advertising ventures and have learned a LOT along the way.

In this post, I want to provide some simple, tangible steps that you can introduce to get your marketing efforts off the ground without breaking the bank.

Get Your Sales Funnel In Place!

First off… You need to have at least a semi-efficient sales funnel in place for your opportunity. If you are unfamiliar with this concept, then I suggest you check out this post on sales funnels.

Without an effective funnel in place to ‘re-coop’ some of your advertising dollars, it’s very difficult to have a ‘win’ out of the gates.

Use Some Common Sense Keywords

Next… Use your common sense and best intuition to come up with 10 separate keyword phrases to initially setup your campaign. Often times people get bogged down using keyword tools, and going after generic terms like ‘home business’ that are extremely difficult to rank/place ads for effectively.

Start simple and use your brain to come up with original terms to get in the head of your prospective visitor. Think about their emotional ties, their frustrations, and their financial challenges that might be spurring their search for your services.

If you can focus your campaigns and advertising dollars around longtail phrases such as “need a new job”, “financial help after divorce”, and “business to run as part time mom”, you will have much better success than using over-competitive and ineffective phrases suggested by most keyword tools.

Use What Works!

Being that you’re only starting with 10 keyword phrases, you might as well find out what’s working to attract these visitors and work upwards from there! So, grab your keywords (which you hopefully came up with on your own) and type them into Google. Once you do, you’ll see that there are probably at least a couple of ads that immediately catch your attention. Now, ask yourself WHY they catch your attention!

Is it because those ads use the keyword in it’s entirety and consequently, Google has ‘bolded’ the phrase? Or, is it because the ad copy pulls an emotional string related to your finances, love, discovery, etc…? Whatever it might be, use it to your advantage when crafting your ad. If it’s not broke.. don’t fix it. The advertisers in these positions are likely paying a lot of money to advertise here, so it is most likely working for them!

Using PPC to create masses of new leads for your business can be quite simple if the right techniques are employed.

7 tips to create an Effective PPC Campaign

Pay per Click campaign is one of the most effective advertising techniques today. However, you will be able to generate desired and motivated traffic and earn revenue, only if the PPC campaign is created in a planned manner.

Study your business objectives: This is the first step. Try to chalk out a detailed plan for your PPC campaign. By doing so, you will get an idea about where you need to concentrate your efforts.
Keyword Research: Do a detailed study of keywords that are most used to search information pertaining to your website. Make use of various keyword tools available. Google AdWords is one of the many tools that are widely used for keyword research.
Cost of the campaign and return on investment: When you have completed a detailed keyword research and analysis, you will have a fair estimate of the total cost of the campaign that you would require to spend so as to have a fair market share. These projections will also tell you about the rate of return on your investment that your PPC campaign will derive.    –more

Should You Use PPC or SEO?

By: Blake Evans
The unbridled growth of e commerce means that you just cannot do without a website to take your business to the next level. But simply having a website is no guarantee to send you laughing all the way to the bank! In order to sell your goods and services via your website you must ensure that people actually visit your website. You may have heard that pay per click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) are two great ways to draw traffic to your site, but then, which one should you use?

A Brief Description

Before you can decide whether to use PPC or SEO, you need to have a clear idea about what they are.

SEO:
You may know already that people who want to make a purchase on the internet take the help of search engines to provide them with multiple options which they can choose from. This is why search engine marketing methods are used to make sure that a webpage comes up towards the top of search results.

A combination of factors such as site content, coding and external linking can be altered to make sure that a site has high search engine ranking. This is called ‘search engine optimization’ or SEO.

PPC:
When the goal is to make money and promote your business, you cannot forget about advertising as a tool of search engine marketing. Pay per click or PPC is a process by which you can place adverts on various sites of your choice. Whenever a visitor to a particular site clicks on your ad and gets redirected to your site, you get charged. Hence the name, ‘pay per click’.

Your Gains
In order to choose between PPC and SEO you need to know what you stand to gain from each of these search engine marketing tools.
The benefits of PPC are:

•You do not need to alter your website at all.
•You only have to pay when your ad is clicked and not under any other circumstances.
•The results of a PPC campaign can be quantified (number of clicks etc.) and changes can be made accordingly.
•You can choose the keywords which you want to include in your ad as well as the page to which people get redirected to, when they click on the ad.
•It can provide results almost instantly, for example, within an hour or so after you have started the campaign.

The Benefits of SEO are:

•The visitors from natural search engine results do not cost you a dime.
•If you can achieve a high search engine ranking via SEO, then it will take a very long time for some other site to displace you. So you can enjoy the benefits of being at the top, for long.
•Visitors trust sites which rank high on search engine results.

The Right Choice

The best strategy therefore may be to start with PPC to generate immediate traffic for your site. As time passes you can invest more in SEO and phase out PPC, in order to build a sustainable position. Thus, an effective marketing strategy must consist of both PPC and SEO.
